Wild night at Skimpii Soca Fever party

It was high energy and drama at the latest edition of Skimpii Soca Fever party on the weekend.

Held at the famous Ultra Beach Club, in Hellshire, Portmore, St Catherine, the ladies got wild as the party went into high gear very quickly. Spurred on by disc jocks DJ Kev, Badda Bling of Di Unit and DJ Batchy Revellers, patrons got on bad as the music hit their souls.

The event truly had a carnival-like atmosphere as partygoers were jumping, waving their hands and rags, which left the promoters filled with glee.

"This is more than a party, it's an event,'' said Bob, the Skimpii Boss. He said the energy was out of this world and thanked his team for putting on a successful event.

Even though it was a soca party, the selectors used guile to cleverly slip in a few dancehall tunes, as well as selection from other genres to add to the flavour of the party.
