Ricardo Singhh upbeat about new single

Dancehall artiste Ricardo Singhh is in an upbeat mood as he promotes his new single titled Paparazzi.

The song, which was produced by Big Easy Productions, was leaked to DJs worldwide a month ago as part of the promotion strategy. Since then, it has been enjoying strong rotation, both locally and abroad.

"It's getting a lot of support from several DJs in Jamaica, including Geefus from Stone Love and Kirky Hype from Boom Box Fridays. It's also enjoying support from DJs in the States and England," he said. Paparazzi was officially released on iTunes and all other leading digital platforms on September 4. Ricardo Singhh also revealed that he plans to shoot a video for the song.

"We're currently working on the treatment for the video. As soon as it's ready and approved, my team and I are going to start scouting locations for the video shoot. All being well, we should have this video filmed and ready for release very soon," he said.

The Kingston-born singjay, who resides in Atlanta, Georgia, is currently working on his debut album, which is slated to be released early next year.

"This album will feature 16 songs. It's a fusion of reggae, dancehall and R&B. My production team and I are pulling out all the stops to make it a classic," he said.

He also plans to release another single in December titled Tell Me.
