Dancehall artiste Miguel Wealthy is pumped up about the reaction to his Bubble song.

"The song is playing now at all the street parties in Kingston. Right now mi have over 200 videos of girls from [various countries] ah dance to the song," he said.

The single was released on the Rural Area Production label over a year ago, but with the relaxing of protocols that were brought on by the pandemic, the song experienced a resurgence and is streaming well, especially in Spanish-speaking territories.

"It is doing well in Panama, Colombia and Belize because a disc jockey, DJ Chiquidubs, started playing the song and it just took off in the Latin American market," he said.

As a youngster, Miguel Wealthy grew up in Clarendon with his parents and his siblings. He attended Vere Technical High School and balanced his schoolwork and his love for music.

In 2005, he released his first single, Love Mi Wen Mi Dirty, which was produced by Platinum Records in Guyana, which led him to tour within the Caribbean and the US.
