Gospel rapper confident of ‘Victory’
Recording artiste Digsy is celebrating his new single titled ' Victory' featuring Navino, which will officially be released in September.
"What inspired me to write music is the experience that I went through in life and how God brought me out, so that is highlighted in this track," Digsy explained.
The accompanying music video, which was directed by RayBann, will feature scenes shot in Portmore, St Catherine adding to the overall vibe of the song.
"The feedback to the song so far from people who have heard it has been great. They love the fact that I speak about God in such a way where the music is still so dope and people can relate to it," Digsy stated. With the positive message and high energy of the track, he is hoping for a great result once it is officially released.
"I hope that listeners will take from this song that God can do all things in your life. He'll give me the 'victory' in every situation, even if it's bad or good," he said.
Born in Jamaica, but raised in New York, Digsy is an artiste who, through his strong relationship with God, showcases his talent in the form of inspirational lyrics and gospel rap. For the past four years, he has put his all into his music, releasing tracks such as Meet Me At The Door, Hallelujah and Believer In Christ. Victory will be featured on his forthcoming album The Journey which is slated for an October release.
"I just want to get my music out to the world to help make the world a better place by spreading the gospel through rap songs and to inspire the younger generations," the artiste said.
