Dancehall artiste Stylysh is making a comeback in the music industry after a prolonged sickness, which was triggered by a mysterious illness, decimated her savings and threatened her music career.

"During the pandemic, I was very sick. I spent over $900,000 on doctor bills trying to figure out what was going on with me; and also, with the pandemic, I realised how precious time is. So I got very close to my family, spending more time with my daughter, basically working on me," she said.

Stylysh, who is known for the singles Prison Wife and Me a Wife, says that the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the world in some unimaginably sad ways.

"I've seen where a lot of people lose their sanity during the pandemic. A lot of people lost their loved ones. It's like the world has not been the same. I am ready to pick up where I left off musically. My fans missed me, and I missed them more," she said.

Last month she performed on a show called 'Bellevue Fest ', alongside Dexta Daps and Iyara, at The Genasis Event Center in Orlando, Florida.

"It was straight 'shellings'. When you are talented, no one can take that away, and with God in the midst I can do anything," she said. Stylysh is promoting a new single titled Not Alone, which was released on the Fearless Muzik INC. label. The song is featured on the 'Dark Memory' rhythm.

"This is an inspirational song that can give spiritual food to people struggling to make ends meet and fighting dark, spiritual forces," she said.
