The cool temperatures of Red Hills in St Andrew was quickly turned up a few degrees at the much-anticipated return of Floss 360 Stringz Pool Party at the 'Pool House', 17A Elmwood Terrace.

But in the midst of the festivities, DJ Banka delivered some gospel selections and songs dedicated to 'mama' in an emotional set.

He said: "My mother had breast cancer and I sold my 1998 Honda motor car to pay for the surgery. Dem cut off one of her breasts, but they saved her life. How many a dem man yah would sell dem car to sav dem mother life?" he questoned.

After the sombre mood, it wasn't long before he went full titlt into the 'girl segment', and the female patrons went wild. Prior to DJ Banka's contribution, DJ Naz, ZJ Johnny Kool and others kept the vibe alive throughout the night.

The featured artiste for the night was singer D'Yani and he didn't disappoint, pelting lyrics from his smash hit, Feelings, and Senorita, his collaboration with Portmore artiste Maestro Don.
